Tonya Hawkins is a former elementary school teacher and current homeschool mom. She graduated from Pepperdine University with a liberal arts degree and held a teaching credential from the state of California.

Tonya and her family have been part of Classical Conversations since 2013. Having tutored Essentials for 5 years and being a parent in Essentials before that, she has extensive experience with IEW. She has also directed both Challenge A and Challenge B and has been involved as a parent in other Challenge programs.

Tonya’s broad and thorough understanding of both the IEW and LTW curricula makes her an excellent resource for your Classical Conversations essay grading needs.
